"Spindrift" 12x16 Original Oil Painting by Artist Kristina Sellers

Everyone loves a clear day at the beach, but I find the mists that roll in at Big Sur quite enchanting. In this original oil painting, I tried to capture the glints of light that come through in spite of the fog. There are very subtle shifts of color and value as well as dramatic brushstrokes and texture. This painting can be purchased unframed, or framed in a traditional black and gold frame.
