"Magenta Blooms" 16x8 original oil painting by Artist Kristina Sellers

I was supposed to paint lavender for the local lavender festival, but my host had so many beautiful scenes to paint. I had to veer off course a bit and capture these beautifully lit roses. That's what inspiration is all about! This painting is on a museum grade panel, is archival and measures 16x8. Areas of thick paint and directional brushstrokes make it quite expressive.
