"Along the Riverbank" 9x12 original oil painting by Artist Kristina Sellers

This plein air painting is in oil and was created along the Clackamas River in Oregon. As you can see from the touch of lavender, I was at a local lavender farm. I love the dark silhouette of the tress against the gleaming river. This piece is very expressive and features directional brushstrokes and areas of thick paint.
