Painted from my window during recent wildfires in my area, this painting has such a unique color palette. As much as I would have preferred working on it outside in the garden, the air quality on that day was "the worst in the world" and people were advised to stay indoors. I focused on the abstract patterns in the leaves and stems, and the greyed down colors. Although it isn't the traditional idea of sunflowers, I think this painting captures something very unique. It comes in a chestnut brown wood frame, ready to hang. It can be seen in person at Chrisman Frame Gallery Nov 7th-Dec 31st.
